The “End Of Winter N-Joy Workshop”
Handpan and Cajon taster course for beginners.
Jürgen Weishaupt will give an introduction to the structure of the D-Kurd handpan so that the instrument can be familiarized with and tried out at your leisure. The course will continue with learning different touch techniques – from soft/atmospheric to rhythmic/percussive. Tone sequences, hand movements, rhythms and whole melodies are also covered.
Top bonus for all HANDPAN EXPERIENCE participants: You don’t need your own instrument. Our partner Sela will provide high-quality handpans for the entire workshop.
To get into the right groove, the basics of playing the cajon and various small percussion instruments will also be taught. What you have learned will be put to the test in a small drum circle.
No previous musical knowledge is required to take part.
